In this section you will find directions on how to get to Tinku Cabins & Apartments in Tilcara. We are located on the road to the Pucara, 60 meters after crossing the old Tilcara bridge, on the left-hand side.
From the entrance to Tilcara, take Villafañe Street, cross the bridge, and continue until it ends. Turn left onto Belgrano Street and go one block. Turn right onto Padilla Street and go 500 meters uphill. Then, turn slightly right and cross the old Tilcara bridge. Tinku Cabins and Apartments in Tilcara is 80 meters ahead on the left.
FROM JUJUY (EL CADILLAL))
Option 1 Private taxi service. Contact us and we'll give you the contact information for someone we've worked with for a long time. You can arrange it directly with them.
Option 2 Take the MarTours van to the new bus terminal in San Salvador de Jujuy (they are synchronized with the flight schedule). Then take any bus going to La Quiaca, Tilcara, or Humahuaca (they all stop in Tilcara).
Keep in mind that it's a 110km trip.
FROM SALTA
Option 1 Take a taxi to the bus terminal. Take a bus to San Salvador de Jujuy from the Salta bus terminal; you will arrive at the San Salvador de Jujuy bus terminal. From there, take another bus to Tilcara.
